The world’s most advanced clear aligner system

Introducing Invisalign

Invisalign® braces are a series of removable and virtually invisible clear aligners. These aligners gently move your teeth and straighten your smile in a planned way. The results are highly predictable, and you will see visuals of your final result before treatment begins.

O’Neill Dental Care is Dublin’s most experienced Invisalign® Diamond Provider. We are also a member of the group.

Unlike traditional fixed braces, Invisalign aligners are comfortable to wear, clear in colour and removable. This means you will still be able to eat the foods you love. You will be able to brush your teeth with ease and keep your braces clean.

Invisalign® orthodontic treatment allows you to achieve straight teeth and your perfect smile without negatively affecting your day-to-day life.

Why Choose Invisalign?

Invisalign Orthodontic Treatment has many advantages over traditional fixed braces. Your teeth are straightened by wearing a series of clear aligners designed specifically for you. They are designed to move your teeth in a gradual and pain-free manner gently.

The many benefits of Invisalign include:

Clear & Discreet

Invisalign® aligners are virtually invisible, so no one may notice you wearing them!

Removable Aligners

You can remove the aligners at meal times to enjoy your favourite foods.

Faster Treatment Times

You may begin to see results in just a couple of months.

Easy Treatment Planning

Invisalign® uses advanced 3D digital technology. This means you can view your virtual results and step-by-step treatment plan before you start your Invisalign® journey.

Fewer Appointments

Your check-up appointments can be up to three months apart!

Less Painful

Innovative SmartTrack® material provides greater comfort and a better fit. You will not need to worry about gum and mouth irritation.

The Clear Invisalign Aligners

Invisalign Aligner

The material used to manufacture your set of aligners make them more comfortable to wear. They are also easier to put on and remove. It is recommended that you wear the aligners for 22 hours a day, so comfort is very important.

The Invisalign 5 Step Process

Initial Consultation to assess suitability for Invisalign Treatment

Step 1

After an initial consultation, we will discuss your orthodontic needs and your expectations and will propose treatment that is best suited to you and your lifestyle.

Invisalign 3D scan

Step 2

We will take digital scans of your teeth to help create your customized treatment plan. We use the iTero® digital scanner which leads to better fitting and more comfortable aligners.

You will see an immediate simulation of how your teeth will look after treatment. Your case will be received by Invisalign® within 15 minutes so your aligners are returned much faster.

Step 3

Your series of Invisalign® clear aligners will then be created for you by the specialist laboratories and will be delivered to our practice.

Step 4

Your will receive your series of aligners (3-4 sets at a time). You must wear these everyday and switch to the next aligner approximately every two weeks.

The number of aligners needed varies according to each patient’s needs. This is usually between 14 – 36 aligners for both upper and lower teeth. Treatment is usually competed in 10 months or less.

Regular Check ups through out your Invisalign Treatment

Step 5

You will visit us approximately every 6-8 weeks to monitor the progress of your treatment and receive the next series of your aligners.

After you’ve finished your Invisalign® aligner treatment, you may need to use retainers to help make sure the new position of your teeth is maintained.
