O’Neill Dental Care is a member of the VHI Dentist Network. VHI Dental Members are covered for both basic and major dental treatments. Members are entitled to two free cleanings/checkups each year and cover is available for a variety of other treatments.
What Treatments are Covered on my Vhi Dental Plan
Routine dental care
Your Vhi Dental insurance covers for 2 check-ups and cleanings per year. The cost of X-rays may also be covered on your plan.
Dental treatment
Dental plans include money back towards the cost of treatments such as fillings and crowns. Vhi covers 70% of the cost of basic dental treatments such as fillings and 50% of the cost of major dental treatments such as root canals and dental crowns.
Emergency Dental Treatment
You can claim for emergency dental treatment worldwide, giving you peace of mind when travelling.
Orthodontic benefit
Vhi dental provide a benefit towards the cost of orthodontic treatment , including Invisalign and traditional braces for adults and children
Discounts for Vhi Patients
As a member of the Clearbraces group, we have a promotional offer giving a €500 discount on Invisalign treatment for all fully paid up Vhi Dental members. This offer is available until 1st August 2025.
Vhi Dental Claims: How much do I Pay?
O’Neill Dental Care provide a Vhi direct pay facility, so you will only have to pay the costs not covered on your plan. You don’t need to do anything in relation to claims, we will look after the rest.
